The V2 MAX is everything you love about the Pro Camper - only stretched 18 inches longer for more access, more flexibility, and more adventure with the family!
The MAX also includes a MOLLE Panel with black powder coat finish, is totally pre-wired for solar and Starlink up top, and is available with an optional sliding cab window.
Built to fit both full-size and mid-size trucks, the MAX is the most versatile GFC camper yet.
Why MAX? Because sometimes you’re hauling kids, dogs, or gear and want to have quick, easy access to the bed of your truck from the sleeping area. This camper provides MAXIMUM versatility and functionality for a broad spectrum of use cases.

What is the V2 Max?
The V2 Max Launch Edition is our latest evolution of the GFC Platform Camper—longer, smarter, and built for bigger adventures. It features a longer tent, upgraded structure, integrated wiring for solar/Starlink, and a ton of built-in accessories. We’re including it all at launch, until the end of 2025. This package is subject to change at the new year.
Which trucks does the V2 Max fit?
The V2 MAX works with most mid-size and full-size trucks. It is not compatible with a Rivian R1T, Ford Maverick, 1st Gen Toyota Tacoma, Toyota Pickup (1984-1994) or the Honda Ridgeline. For those platforms, we designed the Pro Camper to be the perfect fit.

How much does the V2 Max cost?
LAUNCH PRICING: Standard Size: $10,250 | XL Size: $10,750 | 8’ Bed: $11,250
As a launch promotion, this base pricing reflects a hefty discount for the rest of 2025, as well as several accessories in the Launch Edition. This is subject to change in 2026.
How much heavier is it than the Pro?
It’s approximately 60 lbs heavier than the PRO.
Does it come with solar?
Solar Ready: It comes pre-wired for solar (and Starlink), but the solar panel itself is an optional add-on.
Due to supply chain constraints, the 200W Solar Panel will ship separately and is not included at installation.
What colors and finishes are available?
Same core colors as the Pro, but with dark grey Type III gunmetal anodized billet parts.
Is the TurboCubby compatible with the MAX?
Yes, however, the MOLLE Panel will need to be removed. The 3D bump-out on the panel interferes with the Cubby’s footprint. You can have both, but need to choose which one you run.

Are panels installed and wired into the pass-through at Production?
Not right now. Launch Edition Max Campers, will have the solar panel ship separately due to supply chain delays. This was communicated at the time of launch.
When will the Solar Panel be shipping?
They are a scheduled to arrive at GFC in the next 4-6 weeks. We will be reaching out to customers when we have a better timeline.
Install
How long does install take?
About 1 hour at our Montana HQ or at a partner shop.
Where can I get it installed?
At GFC HQ in Montana or through our authorized partner shops nationwide.
Order Process
What happens after my order is submitted?
For GFC HQ Install in Montana:
1. We’ll send a Vehicle Information Request—Submit your VIN here. Your build can’t move forward until we’ve got it.
2. Once we have your VIN, we'll send you a Vehicle Confirmation Form––This provides a summary of your vehicle specs and ensures we build to perfection.
3. This will firm up your Target Completion Date, and your build will be queued up to enter production.
4. Once your Target Completion Date has been locked in, we will reach out to schedule your Installation Date.
For Partner Shop Installation:
1. We’ll send a Vehicle Information Request—Submit your VIN here. Your build can’t move forward until we’ve got it.
2. Once we have your VIN, we'll send you a Vehicle Confirmation Form––This provides a summary of your vehicle specs and ensures we build to perfection. This will lock in a Target Completion Date.
3. Once your Target Completion Date has been locked in, your build will enter production, and we'll email you an update on your build, and an estimated ship date.
4. Once your unit is complete, and we have a full truckload of other units headed to your Partner Shop, it will officially ship. When that trailer rolls, we'll let you and your shop know it's on the way.
- Note: Ship dates and install dates are not the same. Plan on an additional 2-4 weeks for your installation to be locked in.
5. Your Partner Shop will reach out directly to lock in your installation date. Hold off on booking travel until you hear from them.
Why is the Delivery & Installation Fee increased?
Higher crating/insurance costs and carrier surcharges on oversized shipments.
Will I be taxed?
- We collect sales tax where required by law based on delivery/installation location (or shipping destination) and our nexus. A few quick rules of thumb:
- Factory pickup in Montana: Montana has no general state sales tax; we don’t collect MT sales tax on factory pickups. You may owe use tax in your home state.
- Shipped to or installed in your state: Many states require us to collect sales tax on the product and, in some states, on shipping and/or installation.
- Dealers/partner installs: Local tax rules apply at the install address.
