FAQ
How is the RTT XL different from the standard RTT?
It’s a full 6 inches wider—more room to stretch out, stash gear, or share with a co-pilot. The XL is the perfect complement for full-size trucks, especially those with the GFC XL topper.
Will it fit my Ineos Grenadier?
Absolutely. The RTT XL was built with the Grenadier in mind. We've got direct-fit mounts that utilize the Grenadier's grab bars for a clean-looking, low-profile install that doesn't require additional crossbars.
Will it fit on other vehicles?
Yep. The RTT XL mounts to most roof racks or crossbars rated for its weight.
Just note - because it’s extra wide, you might get some serious overhang on narrower rigs.
It works great for wider vehicles like Sprinter vans, full-sized trucks with GFC Toppers, and the Ineos Grenadier.
Is the RTT XL the same width as a full-size GFC topper?
Yes. Tent and topper edges line up perfectly for a clean, aerodynamic profile that looks like it rolled out of the factory that way.
How much does it weigh?
157lbs. Check your rack or mounting surface to make sure it’s rated for this load before you purchase.
What’s the sleeping capacity?
Two adults with room to spare—or two adults plus a kid or a four-legged friend.
Is setup and takedown the same as the standard RTT?
Yes - same fast, easy operation you already know.
Can I use my existing RTT accessories?
Mostly. The ladder kit and lighting kit are universal; however, the headliner and sheets match the dimensions of the floor and the roof, which come in two different sizes, Standard and XL.
Is shipping available to partner shops?
Yes. Ship your RTT XL straight to a GFC partner shop for a pro install and you’re road-ready.

Step 1: Choose Your Setup
Before completing your purchase, please read over the mounting options carefully to ensure compatibility with your vehicle.
If you have any questions about your setup, reach out to us at support@gofastcampers.com—we’re happy to help you select the correct configuration.
Step 2: Complete Your Order
Select the following options at checkout:
- Mounting setup
- Add-ons: Select Headliner or Lighting Kit to be installed before fulfillment.
- Delivery or install options

Current Lead Times
Lead times will vary. Initial orders will be completed in 10-12 weeks, but as volume increases, the lead time will extend. Once your order is placed, we’ll begin building your RTT to your selected specifications.
Delivery & Installation Options
If you selected installation at our Montana HQ:
- We’ll contact you once your RTT is complete to schedule your install.
- At the time of scheduling, we’ll confirm your mounting setup and answer any final questions.
- You’ll receive a confirmation email with your appointment details—please read this carefully, as it contains important information to ensure a smooth experience.
If you selected freight delivery:
- Once your RTT is complete, we’ll package it securely and ship it directly to the address provided at checkout. Please double-check that your shipping address is accurate to avoid any delays or additional fees.
- Your RTT will ship via Old Dominion Freight Line and will arrive boxed and palletized. We’ll send tracking information as soon as your order ships. Once your order reaches the nearest Old Dominion delivery hub, their team will contact you directly to coordinate final delivery to your address.
Please note: liftgate service is not offered, so you’ll need to plan ahead for unloading upon delivery.
- If your delivery address is within the lower 48 states, your shipping cost was already included at checkout (flat rate: $500).
- At this time, we are not shipping internationally, or to Alaska or Hawaii.
If you selected Partner Shop fulfillment:
- Once your RTT is complete, we'll load it onto a truck with campers and toppers headed to a partner shop near you.
- When it arrives, the shop will contact you to schedule your installation.
- The flat $250 shipping fee to Partner Shops does not include Installation services. Contact your shop to discuss service fees.
Install Day at GFC HQ (Montana)
- Arrive 15 minutes early and check in with our team at:
107 S. Broadway St, Manhattan, MT - Most RTT installs take approximately 1.5 hours, depending on your selected mounting setup.
- We’ll complete the install, provide a full walkaround, and answer any questions before you head out.
- You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase accessories on-site.
MOUNTING SPECIFICATIONS
XL AFTERMARKET RACK MOUNT KIT
Compatible with most aftermarket roof or bed rack systems that use t-slot style crossbars, including Prinsu, Sherpa, Front Runner, and similar systems. Also compatible with most truck topper-integrated track systems, provided that the mounting points are no more than 59" apart.
- Adds approximately 1" of height to your mounting setup
- Crossbars must be at least 48" apart for proper installation
- You must provide your own rack-specific t-nuts and bolts
- We recommend bringing a variety of t-nuts and hardware compatible with your specific rack system
Important Fitment Notes
- If you’re running a bed rack, it must sit higher than the cab of your vehicle to ensure proper RTT clearance
- If your mounting point spacing is less than 48", please contact us for installation guidance
